menyiapkan ranjang mati.
Hari akan melengkapkan tahun
sebelum akhirnya pergi.

yang membujuk anak ke pantai.
Tinggal renyai.
Warna berganti-ganti. Dan engkau tak mengerti.

Pada kalender musim pun diam.
Pada kalender aku pun bosan.
Di bawah daun-daun merah, bersembunyi jejak-Mu singgah
Sunyi dan abadi. Musim panas begitu megah.

Kabar terakhir hanya salju.
Suara dari jauh, dihembus waktu.
Kita tak lagi berdoa. Kita tak bisa menerka.
Hanya ada senja, panas penghabisan yang renta.

And so, in the cold, the process begins: the night arrays the leaves,
making the death bed.
Day will end the year
befor it finally departs.

Soon it will die,
the sun that herds children to the beach.
Leaving only drizzle.
Shifting colors. And you do not understand.

On the calendar the season is mute.
Even I am bored with the calendar.
Beneath the red leaves, Your footprints are buried,
still and unchanged. The summer was so great.

The latest news is snow.
A distant murmur, ushered by time.
We pray no more. We fail to know.
We have only dusk, the worn-out final heat.
